The second cheapest bike in the test offers a successful compromise between a sporty character and a relaxed riding position. The handlebars are significantly higher than on the top model, the Super Six, and the top tube is shorter. Thanks to its low weight, the bike is easy to pedal and the steering behaviour is agile. The well-manufactured carbon frame with its multiple variations in tube cross-sections has an independent look, and the riding stability is sufficient for most situations. The contact points are well chosen: The compact handlebar fits the concept of the bike just as perfectly as the comfortable Aliante saddle. The only weak point of the equipment are the Red brakes from SRAM, which are somewhat weak under hard braking manoeuvres. This shortcoming can be remedied with different brake pads. The 25 millimetre wide tyres roll easily and provide noticeable cushioning.
