With the release of the 800 gram Supersix Evo frame last summer, the "old" Supersix had to take a back seat in the Cannondale programme. The riding fun has remained. The Supersix in the Ultegra Di2 version also conveys the riding experience typical of the brand: riding stability in excess and a sporty riding position make it the ideal bike for riders who like to go fast. However, the relatively unyielding carbon seatpost is no longer quite up to date and makes the bike vertically harder than necessary. A look at the Di2 integration shows that the Supersix platform is slowly getting on in years. Two stainless steel plates conceal the areas on the head tube where the cable stops are usually located in a reasonably elegant manner. On the other hand, the plastic holder for the Di2 battery, which Shimano actually only designed for retrofitting, looks less appealing.
