The Cannondale CAAD10 is the pioneer of the new aluminium wave. Lightweight, stable frame with good damping on the saddle. Very sporty riding position.

A Cannondale with state-of-the-art electronic shifting technology for just over €3,000? Anyone who suspects a catch can rest assured: there is none. The well-made frame, which is very light for the material, even makes many mid-range carbon frames look old-fashioned with its unquestionably excellent measurements. The combination with the functionally impressive Ultegra Di2 is therefore logical, especially as the bike is also largely equipped to a high standard with solid Mavic wheels and carbon cranks from FSA. Only the simple Yksion Comp tyres from Mavic lack a little grip when cornering. Arguments in favour of the bike are the lifetime warranty on the frame and fork, including an accident replacement policy, and the robust anodised surface. The riding position is sporty and stretched, and the steering is extremely agile.
