Boardman Team Carbon 2013
Customised, sporty riding position. The wheels are not up-to-date. Only five sizes, only two years warranty.

The brand of charismatic ex-professional Chris Boardman has been distributed by British mail order company Wiggle since 2007. A German-language website and - according to readers' experiences - hassle-free shipping also make orders interesting for German customers. The carbon frame with a flat down tube and BB30 bearings looks good and delivers acceptable values in the lab. With its manoeuvrable steering, race-ready riding position and good comfort on the saddle, the bike is more fun to ride than the overall score would suggest, at least for medium and light riders. Better tyres and handlebars with a larger tube diameter would be inexpensive tuning measures. Otherwise, the equipment mix works perfectly. The silver Aksium wheels ride flawlessly, but Mavic took them out of the programme in 2012.
