Unmistakably BMC: The carbon frame of the "Roadracer SL02" picks up on the bold design language of the flagship "Teammachine SLR" and makes quite an impression. Technically, the difference in class is mainly noticeable in the weight, the test frame weighs almost 350 grams more, but the fork is just as light as the top model at only 386 grams. With the complete "105" groupset and DT Swiss wheels, BMC relies on tried and tested material, and the Scor own-brand components also make a good impression. The bike mastered the test ride without any recognisable weaknesses, the distinctive seatpost with internal clamping provides noticeable comfort, but the fork, as with most bikes, is less compliant. An accident replacement regulation enhances the short warranty of three years (fork two years).
