The top tube and head tube of the Impulso aluminium frame are hydroformed under high pressure to form a virtually seamless unit. At first glance, the frame therefore looks like a carbon frame. In the laboratory, the construction impresses with its high torsional rigidity, but also its high weight. The fork weight in particular is out of date. Add-on parts, brakes and wheels are visually enhanced by splashes of colour in the corporate colour Celeste. Functionally, however, the components do not quite match those of better-known brands. The Ultegra gears work perfectly. The heavy clincher tyres are disappointing at this price level.
