The Dolce 8.2 is an unspectacular, reliable and durable road bike. The cleanly finished aluminium frame, protected by Eloxat, is convincingly stiff in the head tube and bottom bracket and correspondingly stable. The slim seat post provides noticeable suspension and the tightly padded saddle is comfortable to sit on. The equipment also offers no reason to criticise the function. The shifting technology comes from Shimano's Ultegra groupset, the Shimano brakes without groupset integration decelerate very well, as the same pads are fitted as on the Ultegra. The DT Swiss wheels are characterised by the same features as the entire bike: they are robust but relatively heavy. The first upgrade measure would be better tyres.
