Red and silver trim lines significantly enhance the black paintwork of the "Dolce 5.9". The black WH-RS10 wheels from Shimano with red spoke nipples couldn't fit better visually, but technically the wheels cause problems: For the third time in a TOUR test, the brake flanks on a wheelset of this type turned out not to be plane-parallel. On a segment of six spokes, the width of the front rim varies by more than two tenths of a millimetre, which is noticeable when braking due to unpleasant juddering. We informed Shimano and Bergamont about the problem in advance. Aside from this lapse, the bike makes a good impression.
Conclusion: Except for the wheels, there are no nasty surprises with Bergamont; discreet but loving design
