At the 2014 Tour de France, several riders from the NetApp team rode the Transonic. Visually, the bike presents itself with colour-coordinated carbon wheels from a single mould. Aerodynamically, the frame is successful, but it needs fast wheels to show this. Only the Zipp 404 allows you to catch up with the fastest riders. The price-performance ratio is good. For a relatively fair € 5,000, an almost complete Red groupset is on board, which gives the bike the second lowest weight in the test. As SRAM doesn't offer direct mount brakes, Fuji uses Tektro calipers, which flex more than the originals from Shimano. In general, the braking performance leaves a lot to be desired. The roughened aero post in the clamping area is well done.
