The new Aeroad is tailored to the wishes of racing cyclists. The short head tube places the handlebars low down. It's impressive how Canyon has managed to combine previously contradictory characteristics such as aerodynamics and suspension comfort. The aero support flexes noticeably. The spec is so good that we can't think of a single detail that could improve the bike. Even the smart Di2 sprinter shifters in the handlebars are on board. The integration of the electric drivetrain is also exemplary. The junction box is hidden in the aerodynamic handlebar/stem unit and the battery is pushed through the bottom bracket shell into a holder in the down tube. Not entirely unimportant: the Aeroad is one of the best in the wind tunnel.
