The frame of the affordable G6 Pro is technically identical to that of the top model; the frameset would be available for €1,999. The equipment is solid throughout, the new Shimano 105 groupset can hardly be distinguished functionally from the classy Dura-Ace. The aluminium wheels from Vision are a well-made training wheelset. However, if you are speculating on the promised time gain when buying the bike, you cannot avoid aero wheels. In the comparative measurement with the Swiss-Side wheels, the bike makes a leap of 11 watts compared to the Vision wheels. This would put the affordable G6 aerodynamically on a par with the Dura-Ace model. Extrapolated to a 100-kilometre distance, the top model still has a time advantage due to its lower weight.
