Although the frameset is heavy - even the fork weighs in at over 900 grams - it has a modern appearance and is extremely stiff and robust. The long wheelbase and plenty of caster allow the bike to run straight ahead evenly, the riding position is sporty but not too stretched. The construction with the new Tiagra groupset, stable wheels and mechanical Tektro disc brakes is consistently pragmatic and robust. The extra-long SKS mudguards deserve praise - the front one reaches almost to the ground and also reliably protects your feet from splashing water - as well as the high-quality Tubus luggage rack. The cross tyres are a question of the intended use; we would find wide, treadless tyres more logical for this concept. Lighting in the dark has to be provided by battery-powered lights.
CONCLUSION Heavy but robust and inexpensive everyday crosser with off-road tyres. Effective mudguards, sturdy pannier rack
