Compared to its predecessor, the new Spire frame has been significantly improved. It is 100 grams lighter and at the same time more stable; the frame is also significantly more comfortable than before thanks to the change to the 27.2 millimetre seat post dimension. The riding position is extremely sporty due to the short head tube. Anyone who likes this set-up will have a lot of fun with the bike. The Bonn-based mail order company H & S, which is behind the Radon brand, is generous with the equipment. The complete Ultegra is accompanied by lightweight Ksyrium Elite wheels from Mavic, which roll on 25 mm tyres. The Syntace handlebar sits perfectly in the hands and the SLR saddle mounted on a Syntace carbon seatpost is rightly one of the most popular racing saddles. The robust transport box is similar to Canyon's and protects the bike well. There was still room for improvement in the assembly. The front derailleur was not perfectly adjusted and the silicone plug for sealing the small Di2 opening in the seat tube was defective. However, Radon was able to supply a plug immediately.
