Test 2016: Centrimaster centring stand
Two things make the Centrimaster Comfort truing stand from Germany a super professional device: automatic centring and the option of pressing the wheel into the stand on all sides.

The solid steel profile tool accommodates wheels of all sizes, axle types and installation widths and secures the hub absolutely firmly. The counter-rotating threads of the quick adjuster mean that the centre fits automatically and no additional gauge is required. The wheel can be assembled and clamped in the stand without reclamping. After building six wheelsets with it, we are delighted with the function. The bead breaker tool (90 Euro surcharge) is ingenious, fully relieving the spokes all round with just one turn of the wheel, allowing twisted spokes and nipples to settle. Anyone who enjoys high-quality tools and builds and maintains their own wheels will get an absolute professional tool for 790 euros. The solid construction should last forever. Additional tools such as the good spoke tension gauge (for 198 euros) round off the Centrimaster range.

PLUS For all wheel and hub types, automatic centre detection, bead breaking device
MINUS Relatively expensive professional device

Price 790 Euro
