Wheels, seat post with saddle and stem are coveted individual parts on road bikes that thieves can quickly unscrew. A tried and tested system to prevent parts theft goes by the name of "Pitlock". The "02" set includes quick release, seat clamp including screw or Ahead cover with screw, made of stainless steel. The central component, which works like a key, is the code nut, which can only be opened with the appropriate code key, of which there are a total of 256 different ones, which can be identified using a code card supplied and reordered if lost. The advantage of the anti-theft device only becomes a disadvantage if you have a flat tyre and don't have the key with you when travelling. The screws cannot be opened with standard tools.
