Faster riding, better training, less sensitive to crosswinds and many other attributes are attributed to the new Aeolus wheelset. The Trek brand presents new carbon wheels. The profile of the Aeolus XXX is said to be aerodynamically better and less sensitive to crosswinds. The rim is also said to brake better - and thus perform comparably well to aluminium rims. Three rim heights (28, 47 and 60 millimetres) are available, with a price tag of 2,400 euros per wheelset. A 50-millimetre carbon wheelset called Aeolus Pro 5 is also available for a more affordable €1,299.
