Swisstop brake pads are recommended for carbon rims.
It is difficult to make generalised statements about brake pads, as the friction pairing of pad and rim is always responsible for the braking effect. However, after extensive test rides with four different carbon wheels (Mavic Cosmic Carbon C40, Bontrager Aeolus, Shimano Dura-Ace C75, Campagnolo Hyperon), we can say that the new Black Prince pads from the specialist Swissstop are a recommendation for many carbon rims.

The black rubbers are characterised by excellent modulation, high braking power and moderate wear in dry conditions. Even after long descents, no massive pad wear was observed. In the rain, the braking effect does not drop as dramatically as with many other pads. Overall, the braking performance is very similar to that of aluminium rims. Our experiences largely coincide with those of users of the TOUR forum, although individual users here complain about brake squeal on certain rims. Swissstop itself argues that the braking distances of the Black Prince compound are significantly shorter than those of the company's own yellow pads, which were previously regarded as the reference among carbon pads. In addition, the Black Prince pads are said to heat up significantly less and thus prevent the delamination of carbon rims.
