Leeze presents a range of new carbon wheels. The third generation of the Basic series comprises four revised models which, according to the manufacturer from Münsterland, are intended to raise the quality level in the segment of carbon wheels under 1000 euros. Thanks to the use of new hubs and Sapim Aero Straight Pull spokes, the wheels are said to be significantly lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic. They are available at a price of 999 euros each.
The wheels were tested and optimised in the wind tunnel. Compared to their predecessors, they are said to be 100 grams lighter on average. The new Basic range is available in four versions, each of which is optimised for its area of use. The wheels now have clear name affixes that characterise the area of use. "R" stands for road models, "AR" for all-road versions and "GX" for gravel wheels. This naming logic will also be applied to other Leeze product lines in the future.
In addition, Leeze leads with the CC 45 Comp AR is launching a new entry-level model at a price of 799 euros. The model has a 45 millimetre high aero carbon rim with a rim width of 23 millimetres. This places it exactly between the road and gravel versions of the Basic line. According to the manufacturer, this combination allows it to be used with both road tyres from 28 millimetres and wide gravel tyres up to 50 millimetres. Leeze is therefore positioning the CC 45 Comp AR as a versatile wheel for beginners and ambitious riders who value a good price-performance ratio.
All new wheels have a revised design with a new brand logo. The Basic wheels are available with high-quality decals printed on the rim in black or white. The bearings can optionally be upgraded to Croder Ceramic or Ceramicspeed.
