Also for the Vuelta a Espana Groupama-FDJ has already made the first two nominations. Lenny Martinez, the son of the former world-class mountain biker Miguel Martinez, already rode two days in the red jersey at the Tour of Spain 2023 at the age of 20. The youngster would like to build on this in 2024 alongside David Gaudu, who has also been nominated.
"I had some great moments there, especially with the red jersey, but I also had some tough days. I battled with the best in the mountains and now I have to manage to keep up this pace for three weeks," says Lenny Martinez.
