Sporty and versatile: the new Storck Grix.3
The German bike manufacturer Storck Bicycle from Idstein is expanding its portfolio with the new Grix.3 gravel bike. With a weight starting at 7.6 kilograms and equipment options from SRAM and Shimano, the manufacturer is positioning the bike for various purposes - from competition to bikepacking.

Storck describes the new model as a further development of the previous Grix.2 model with a focus on performance and versatility. The Grix.3 has a carbon frame and the manufacturer promises a complete bike weight from 7.6 kilograms in the lightest configuration - which would be remarkably light for a modern gravel bike. The technical innovations include a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger (Universal Derailleur Hanger), revised dropouts and seat stays and a new fork shape. According to the manufacturer, the bike is designed for both competitions and bikepacking adventures and offers appropriate mounting points for bags, mudguards and other accessories. Storck is planning the first deliveries of the new model for the end of November 2025.

Frame and equipment variants

The Grix.3 is available with various equipment packages. Customers can choose between gear groups from SRAM (Red E1, Force E1, Rival XPLR) and Shimano GRX. The Pro model comes in a glossy finish called "Black Jade Sparkle", which, according to the manufacturer, is inspired by classics such as the Ford Mustang Boss 429. The carbon frame is designed for a maximum system weight of 120 kilograms. Storck grants a two-year warranty on the Grix.3 and offers a crash replacement programme for first-time owners. The range is complemented by the new generation of Storck's own Zeitjäger carbon wheels (Pro 45G and Platinum 45G), which have been specially developed for gravel use and are said to be optimised for lightness, stiffness and efficiency.

Modular concept for different applications

A special feature of the Grix.3 is its modular concept. By replacing the standard Flare handlebar stem unit with the Grix.2 LVE unit, the bike can be transformed into a more aerodynamic set-up for racing and fast rides, according to the manufacturer. Markus Storck, founder and CEO of the company, describes the new model as a combination of "speed, adventure and everyday life in a unique way".
