Rose has fitted the Blend 2 with an electronic gear system: equipped with Shimano’s 105 Di2, this aluminium all-road bike costs 2,000 euros.

The Blend Road 105 Di2 is the new top-of-the-range model in the Blend range. The Shimano 105 Di2 groupset is electronically controlled and features a 2x12-speed drivetrain. Rose R25 aluminium wheels are fitted to this model, which is likely to be the cheapest new bike with electronic gear changes available

Mechanical gear systems for beginners to gravel or road cycling

The two basic models Blend Road and Blend Gravel feature mechanical gear systems with 2x10 speeds. There are two versions: the Blend Road uses Shimano Cues and 28-millimetre-wide road tyres, whilst the Blend Gravel, which costs 100 euros more, is fitted with Shimano GRX 400 and runs on 40-millimetre knobby tyres. Both models are fitted with G20 wheelsets and are available in Violet and Light Ochre.

Frame with 40 mm tyre clearance

The aluminium frame accommodates tyres up to 40 mm wide. This tyre clearance allows you to switch between narrow road tyres and wider gravel tyres. For 2026, the frame has been fitted with two additional mounting points on the top tube. These mounting points accommodate top-tube bags such as the Rose Top Tube Bag. The geometry remains unchanged from the previous model and is available in seven frame sizes.

All three models share basic components such as the handlebars and seat post. A carbon fork is fitted as standard, as are hydraulic disc brakes. The cables are routed internally within the frame. Threaded mounts for mudguards and a side stand are provided on the frame.

Availability and prices

The Blend 2026 is available from online straight away and available in Rose Stores. The Blend Road costs 1,300 euros, the Blend Gravel 1,400 euros. The Blend Road 105 Di2 is available for 2,000 euros on offer.
