The most striking detail is the Kingpin suspension on the rear triangle, which is designed to provide more control, traction and comfort off-road. The seat stays are connected to the frame by a hinge, while the chain stays are connected conventionally. Cannondale promises that the frame can absorb impacts better than would be possible with a rigid rear triangle. Another interesting feature is the option of retrofitting a dropper post with internal cable routing. The frame and fork offer space for 40 millimetre wide tyres as well as mounting options for plenty of panniers and water bottles. The Entry-level model with 105 group costs 2,499 euros. The top-of-the-range version with Force eTap AXS from SRAM costs 5,499 euros. There is also a women's model with Ultegra RX groupset for €2,999.
