LeMond Bicycles has a new e-road bike in its programme. The All-Road Prologue e-bike awakens the same feeling of flight and freedom in Greg LeMond, three-time Tour de France winner and company founder, as he had 33 years ago when he won the yellow jersey.

The All-Road Prolog e-bike from LeMond Bicycles is an all-terrain bike with racing handlebars that weighs just 12.7 kilos. Its innovative carbon fibre construction is partly responsible for this.

Greg LeMond's enthusiasm for the e-road bike is captured in the press release for the All-Road Prologue e-bike:

This bike speaks to my heart as a racing cyclist - Greg LeMond

"It's been 33 years since I won the coveted yellow jersey, but with the All-Road I can experience the same feeling of flight and freedom that you only get on two wheels. I love bikes in any form, but now that we have this pedal-assist bike with drop-bar handlebars, I've really fallen in love all over again."

About LeMond Bicycles

LeMond is not an unknown name in the cycling industry. The company was founded by legendary cyclist and three-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond. With a vision to innovate and improve the sport of cycling, the Knoxville-based company has stood for the development of modern bicycles, equipment and accessories since its foundation. LeMond Bicycles currently produces three e-bikes: the Dutch, the Prologue and the All-Road Prologue, which we present in this article.

The LeMond All-Road Prologue E-road bike

The All-Road is the most versatile bike in the LeMond programme. It has the same frame geometry as the Prologo, which is equipped with a flat bar. This makes it a genuine Allroad bike with e-drive, i.e. a bike that is suitable for a variety of surfaces from tarmac to gravel. Its slightly flared carbon handlebars ensure stability, while the 43 mm wide Panaracer off-road tyres provide traction. This makes the e-road bike very versatile. It is therefore equally suitable for a ride with the family to the café, for training or to join a local gravel or road bike ride. The All-Road Prologue is equipped with Shimano GRX components and can be serviced in any bike shop - at least in theory. In practice, it depends on the capacity utilisation of the respective bike workshop.

The manufacturer writes that the riding experience is also improved by Greg's active involvement in the technical development, ergonomics and frame geometry of all LeMond bikes. The LeMond All-Road Prologue is also an e-bike designed by a champion.

The integrated design is strikingly inconspicuous. The Mahle X35+ system is seamlessly integrated. There are two rear lights further back on the bike, integrated into the seat stays.

Engine: Mahle X35+

The Mahle X35+ is a rear hub motor and the battery is hidden in the down tube. Thanks to the integrated Mahle drive, the All-Road is almost indistinguishable from a non-electric bike and enables a slim and elegant appearance that appeals to both experienced cyclists and newcomers and is intuitive to operate. All controls and functions are integrated directly into the frame.

The 3T Racemax Boost Italia Integrale also has a Mahle motor, but with a lighter x20 motor, the iX250 to be precise. According to the manufacturer, it weighs less than 11 kilos and is the very first made-in-Italy-bike from the manufacturer. The price is an impressive 12,679.45 euros. A cheaper version with Sram XPLR AXS equipment is available for 8777.44.
