Kocmo GRVL Beast
Kocmo presents the GRVL Beast, an innovative gravel bike with a hybrid construction of titanium and carbon. Titanium is used at key junctions to ensure maximum durability and vibration damping, while carbon ensures high stiffness and low weight. This handmade model was presented for the first time at Bespoked in Dresden. The construction is specially designed for performance-orientated riders in the gravel and all-road sector.

Hybrid construction combines two material worlds

Kocmo introduces the GRVL Beast, which is a hybrid construction of Titanium and carbon fibre. The engineers placed titanium at the neuralgic points of the frame where maximum durability and vibration damping are required. Carbon is used where maximum rigidity is required with minimum weight. This combination of materials makes it possible to utilise the specific advantages of both materials in a targeted manner.

The design follows a clear functional principle: titanium takes on the task of optimising comfort and durability, while carbon ensures direct power transmission. The result is a frame that is suitable for long gravel tours as well as fast all-road adventures or road use. The hybrid construction combines the natural flexibility of titanium with the performance-orientated stiffness of carbon.

Kocmo GRVL Beast: Manual labour characterises production

Like all of the brand's models, the GRVL Beast is made with precision craftsmanship. Manual production enables the complex connection between titanium and carbon elements to be executed with precision. Each frame undergoes individual production steps that cannot be achieved by machine production. This approach guarantees the necessary precision for the sophisticated combination of materials.

The craftsmanship is also evident in the design: striking transitions between titanium and carbon set the bike visually centre stage. The purist, timeless appearance is aimed at riders looking for individuality. The elegant finish emphasises the claim of not compromising on workmanship. The visible material transitions become a design element that emphasises the technical sophistication of the construction.

Driving characteristics for different areas of use

The ride feel of the GRVL Beast results from the targeted distribution of materials in the frame. Titanium ensures comfortable compliance on long tours by damping vibrations from the ground and reducing fatigue. Carbon provides direct power transmission when pedalling and on climbs. This combination makes the bike just as suitable for gravel use as it is for fast all-road rides or road use.
