The stretched seating position appeals to sporty crossers, the long wheelbase in combination with the generous trail makes the steering behaviour sluggish; the heavy front wheel reinforces this tendency. Overall, the ten-kilo bike lacks a little liveliness. Apart from the mechanical disc brake from Promax, which our test riders unanimously rated as the worst brake in the test, the equipment is appropriate for the price. Schwalbe semi-slick tyres feel more at home on tarmac and hard-packed forest floors, but quickly reach their limits on soft ground.
