3T Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato: Gravel bike with Lamborghini design

The Huracán Sterrato is a new off-road sports car from the Italian luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini. At the same time, a gravel bike was also presented at its launch at Art Basel in Miami: the 3T Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato. Both products share the ability to find their way off-road beyond paved roads. Lamborghini and 3T want to benefit from each other. That is why expertise has been exchanged and a gravel bike has been developed alongside an off-road car with 610 hp. In terms of the special design, 3T is in prominent company. Colnago also recently presented the Motoki Yoshio X Colnago one of his bikes with special paint job.

3T Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato: At home off-road & on the road

The 3T Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato is a special edition of the Exploro Racemax from 3T, which was advertised by the manufacturer as "the world's first aero gravel bike". The Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato has now been developed on this basis in collaboration with the sports car manufacturer and is intended to be suitable for off-road and on-road riding. The design of both products is very similar, a gravel bike in a Lamborghini outfit.

The frame, which is available in four sizes, was manufactured in Italy using 3T's in-house carbon production technology. The bike should reach end customers from March 2023. Orders can already be placed. However, fans of this special edition with a Lamborghini look will have to put 15,000 euros on the table.

It comes with SRAM Red AXS, 3T Discus 45|40 wheels, a Fizik saddle and Pirelli tyres. The 3T Exploro RaceMax Italia frame is available in four sizes.

Head of Design Vroomen explains collaboration

Gerard Vroomen is responsible for the 3T Exploro Racemax X Huracán Sterrato. The Dutchman was once co-founder of Cervélo and is now Head of Design at 3T. "Together we are celebrating 'Made in Italy' with the launch of an exclusive performance gravel bike that utilises high-end materials and 3T components based on the Huracán Sterrato design," says Vroomen.

"As with Lamborghini's super sports cars, the use of carbon fibre and lightweight materials predominates. The Racemax frame, the heart of the bike, is manufactured in Italy using 3T's own carbon fibre technology."
