Our route plan divides the route of the Stoneman into three stages and starts in Olbernhau. You can then spend the night there again at the end of the first day, after 121 kilometres. At the end of the second stage, you can spend the night in Oberwiesenthal. Luggage transport can be booked with the Stoneman organiser (between Olbernhau and Oberwiesenthal 29 euros per day/person).
Note: Due to the entry restrictions imposed in connection with the Corona crisis, the route may not be accessible again or only later. Current information on already booked starter packages and overnight stays at the organiser https://road.stoneman-miriquidi.com
Booklet correction, page 119: The tour description for the third day says: "Then it's back down into the Pöhlbach valley, to Jöhstadt and through the Schwarzwasser and Preßnitz valleys ..." Instead, however, the route remains in the Pöhlbach valley and follows it to Königswalde before taking a short detour into the Preßnitz valley via Mildenau and Mauersberg to the Großrückerswald district of Boden.
