Tour 1 (116 kilometres, 1,500 metres in altitude, max. 12 % gradient)
From the Alb to Switzerland
A varied route with plenty of elevation gain over the Franconian Alb to the Main, to the magnificent baroque church of Vierzehnheiligen, through Franconian Switzerland and back to the Main. If you make it to the Plassenburg castle at the end, you will have earned your after-work beer.
Tour 2 (77 kilometres, 1,029 metres in altitude, max. 12 % gradient)
Thurnau hinterland
A short loop that first leads through the Weißmaintal valley towards Bayreuth and then loses itself on the smallest roads in the Thurnau hinterland. A few extra hills are included: for the great views of the Fichtelgebirge and to escape the busier roads in the valley.
