Tour 1 (93 kilometres, 1,150 metres in altitude, max. 12 % gradient)
Through the vineyards
An up and down through the picturesque wine landscape of the Palatinate. A bit of Palatinate Forest, a few vineyards, a bit of flat wine route and this beautiful gourmet tour for everyone is complete. Shortly before the end, it is worth making a detour to the tranquil town of Freinsheim and its cosy pubs.
Tour 2 (68 kilometres, 1,040 metres in altitude, max. 17 % gradient)
Kalmit circuit
First the work, then the pleasure: The tour to the south of the region begins with a beautiful and long climb up the 672 metre high Kalmit. However, the view from the highest mountain in the Palatinate Forest is no reward, as you can hardly see anything in the dense forest. Instead, the pleasure awaits down in the valley: a wine tasting at the end of the tour invites you to linger - you just have to make the jump at some point. For example, to include a detour to Hambach Castle.
