Tour 1 (102 kilometres, 1,400 metres in altitude, max. 12 % gradient)
On the Rhine and Ahr
A bit of everything: a relaxed start on the banks of the Rhine, beautiful vineyard panoramas in the neighbouring Ahr valley and a climb into the foothills of the Eifel. This tour offers plenty of variety and is a classic training round for local racing cyclists. The flat return route through the shady Kottenforst forest is a real treat, especially in summer.
Tour 2 (93 kilometres, 1,500 vertical metres, max. 26 % gradient)
Rollercoaster in the Siebengebirge
The profile of this tour shows ten peaks: After a short gallop along the Rhine, it goes up and down in the Siebengebirge. The ramps are not long, but they are steep. The 24 per cent on the penultimate climb in Ittenbach requires either a mountain transfer or strong form on the mountain. If you still have the energy afterwards, you will be rewarded for your efforts with a spectacular view of the Rhine valley from the Petersberg.
