Day 1 (115 kilometres, 300 vertical metres, max. 3% gradient)
Forests and sea
The way out of Szczecin is easy and quick to find. Then onwards through the solitude of the Polish forests. From Leopoldshagen on Usedom, the tour not only becomes more varied in terms of scenery, it even goes slightly up and down. The small avenue road to Stolpe is particularly enjoyable.
Day 2 (131 kilometres, 400 vertical metres, max. 5% gradient)
Gentle waves
After Mellenthin, a hilly, varied little stretch leads along the lagoon, followed by a beautiful winding path through the forest at Zirchow, then a real descent to Kamminke. Cross the border into Poland and take the ferry in Świnoujście (Swinemünde) to the other side of the Swine. Cycle along a multi-lane road to Wolin, then through remote villages to Stepnica - where a detour to the harbour is recommended. The route to Szczecin is flat and leads along the S3 to the city centre.
