Punch Palooka 2014
Simple and inexpensive frame set without technical weaknesses. Titanium fork, five sizes, no custom option.

Punch was founded in 2011 by Mario Sillack from Stuttgart, who has been active in the German bicycle industry for 20 years. He has been importing titanium frames from the US luxury brand Seven since 2007. With the Palooka, he has a simple, inexpensive frame in five standard sizes in his programme; the complete bike is available in seven equipment variants. Sillack designs and specifies; he has the frames welded in Taiwan. Sitting on the Palooka is relatively relaxed and the frame has no technical weaknesses. The design is simple, only the chainstays change their cross-section as they progress. The only titanium fork in the test is remarkable with its combination of decent lateral stiffness and good comfort values. If you want, the Palooka is also available with disc brakes.
