Nevi Spinas 2014
Interesting handcrafted frame with a special look. Manoeuvrable, rigid and not too heavy, five sizes or made to measure.

Nevi from Chiuduno near Bergamo is one of the most traditional titanium forges in Europe. The company was founded in 1992 and has focussed on the construction of titanium frames ever since. Today, Nevi builds eight models, four of which are racing bikes, each also customised. The Spinas racer is visually quite striking due to the burnished surface, which gives the metal a black-brown shimmer - the decals are left out. Another eye-catching feature is the flat down tube, which consists of a triple-folded sheet and is welded in the centre on the underside. The wall thickness is just 0.5 millimetres. The frame impressively confirms the set goal of high rigidity at a reasonable weight on the test bench. The handling is manoeuvrable but not nervous.
