Another compromise due to the lightweight construction: at 81 Newton metres per degree, the steering head stiffness is only just above the threshold at which we certify that a frame is safe to ride. This is not critical, but for athletic riders the normal, stiffer Pavo is the better choice. If you can live with the limitations, the Pavo 3 Ultra offers a road bike experience that few models can match. The combination of lightweight construction, good damping, sporty position, well-balanced steering and top equipment makes the bike look harmonious like no other.
