After the brand had disappeared into oblivion for a good five years, Principia is making a new start. The Danes may not have achieved a revolution with the "Revolution", but connoisseurs will be reminded of models such as the "Rex Pro". Fat tubes, elliptical head tube, anodised frame and details such as shift cables routed through the head tube, elaborate derailleur hanger construction and a seat tube slotted at an angle on two sides to securely clamp carbon seat posts are proof that Principia still puts a lot of brainpower into the construction of aluminium frames today. So there is little to criticise about the "Revolution": Technically at the top level, welded seams and surface protection at their finest. Only the stick-on lettering doesn't match the price of €1,999.
ConclusionTechnology and attention to detail, just like Principia used to do. Handles even the heaviest riders, most expensive frame set in the test.
