The silhouette with an almost horizontal top tube has a classic look and the cables are routed on the outside for easy maintenance. The coordination of the matt black frame surface with the Enve add-on parts in the same finish is a success. The carbon rims, also from Enve, revolve around elegant Chris King hubs, whose freewheel emphasises the riding experience with a distinctive buzz. The fact that such a light bike can be so stable on the road is always amazing. However, due to the narrow Schwalbe tubular tyres, the good comfort on the saddle remains a theoretical value. Slightly wider tyres, ridden with less air pressure, would improve the damping. The lightweight, stiff SISL2 cranks are supplied as standard with the chainring combinations 53/39 and 50/34.
CONCLUSION Top riding characteristics, visually seamless: the pioneer of the current lightweight construction wave continues to inspire. Expensive.
