They are easy to swallow even without water and are not as heavy on the stomach as gels, as they are more liquid. And the feeling of fullness is greater. The elaborate packaging with a screw cap is easy to open with your teeth, can be emptied cleanly with one hand and the closed empty sachet can be stuffed back into your pocket without soiling your jersey. At a good two euros per sachet, they are unfortunately a little expensive.
