TOUR has tried it out: Electrolyte tablets from GU
Empty bottle, still a long way to go and sweating a lot? That means topping up with water - but then there aren't enough electrolytes such as sodium and potassium in it. The Electrolyte Drink Tablets mainly provide these two ingredients.

They keep liquid in the body longer than pure water. The effervescent tabs are available to take away in practical individual packaging, sold in (only) three pieces per bottle, otherwise they are available in small tubes. They provide practically no calories (10 kcal per tablet), so they should be combined with gels or bars. Critical: The pack is labelled in English only - translation only on the Internet - and the quantity per tablet is designed for 16 oz (473 ml) bottles. In the package, the bottle size fits, but even when dissolved in half or three quarters of a litre, the result is a usable drink. The flavours are Strawberry Lemonade, Lemon Lime and Tri-Berry.

PLUS Practical, flexible to use, easily soluble
MINUS Package information in English, mineral profile somewhat one-sided, rather artificial flavour

Price 4.99 euros (test pack with three tablets and bottle)
