With the new product "WegeBrot", the manufacturer P. Jentschura is launching a baking mix for alkaline nutrition on the market from 20 October 2008, with which bars, biscuits, pastry balls and muffins can be created quickly and without much effort.
"WegeBrot is gluten-free, free from flavour enhancers, preservatives and colourings. According to the manufacturer, the baking mix is high in fibre, easily digestible and therefore a wholesome snack to maintain performance, concentration and stamina in kindergarten and school, at work, during leisure time and in sport. The vital substances contained in "WegeBrot", such as minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and secondary plant substances, together with plant-based carbohydrates, fats and proteins, provide the body with quickly available, long-lasting energy.
The biscuits are ready to eat after 30 minutes of baking time and require a little honey, vegetable oil and water for preparation. The 620g pack costs a hefty €15.75 in the shop and is enough for 26 bars or 80 biscuit balls, for example. Each pack comes with a free sample of the "WurzelKraft" plant-based food, which is rich in vital nutrients, as well as a collection of recipes, which includes preparation ideas for everyday use as well as creative ideas for Christmas baking.
