Zwift announces a new world to be released in February: Scotland. The new tracks have been specially created for the UCI Cycling E-Sports World Championships.

A few days ago, Zwift confirmed its plans to add a new training world to its online training platform. The completely redesigned map was created especially for the UCI Cycling E-Sports World Championships. Glasgow and the Scottish landscape served as inspiration.

Zwift is the official virtual fitness platform of the UCI Cycling World Championships, which will take place in Glasgow and the surrounding area from 3 to 23 August 2023. The new Zwift world is both an extension of the next Cycling World Championships and the first venue to be created specifically for an e-sports race.

The virtual world is intended to emphasise that Scotland is an important destination for cyclists. This also includes the fact that cycling is a sustainable way of travelling, that it can be used for leisure activities and that it can contribute to improved mental and physical health and therefore well-being.
