Unlike conventional roller trainers, the drive train from the road bike is coupled directly to the Silencer Direct Drive when the rear wheel is removed. This improves the pedalling feel because the rear wheel cannot slip, just like on a roller. Accordingly, the trainer can be used regardless of the wheel size. Training control or virtual races are possible if you connect the
unit with the VT-Virtual training programme.
