Exercise bikes should be as quiet as possible. This is also the case with the Elite Real Turbo Muin B+

In the 12/2015 issue, we tested three current indoor bike trainers with direct drive. Elite's Real Turbo Muin B+, Tacx's Neo Smart and Wahoo's Kickr were represented. With their direct drive and wireless transmission of ride data, all three promise a varied riding experience and professional training control at prices starting at €1,300. The drive concept significantly improves the pedalling feel on all three devices.
Unfortunately, we only noticed a measurement error later when testing the maximum volume of the Elite Real Turbo Muin B+. We therefore repeated the test under identical conditions (500 watts, cadence 120 rpm, gear ratio 50/12). We determined an average maximum volume of 69 decibels instead of the previous 90 decibels. The device is therefore significantly quieter and is generally on a par with its competitors. The Real Turbo Muin + receives a score of 2.0 instead of 3.0 for the loudness category, improving the overall score to 2.7. We apologise for the error.
