Feedback Sports Brush Bar: Wash it, but do it properly – a bike wash station

The Brush Bar is compatible with all Feedback Sports repair stands, as well as with the centre post of the A-Frame Event Stand. Using the adaptors supplied, it can be attached to tubes with diameters of 38, 50 or 70 millimetres. Its height can be adjusted on the stand to suit your working position.

As well as the Wash Caddy, the set includes two additional accessory hooks, a thru-axle chain keeper, three brushes, a microfibre cloth and a mesh bag for storage. The Caddy itself features three fixed hooks and four storage compartments.

It has space for, amongst other things, a hose with a spray nozzle, a spray bottle, a 15-millimetre thru-axle and small tools. There is a dedicated clip holder for the thru-axle chain keeper. It holds the chain in place when the rear wheel is removed, making it easier to clean the cassette, chain and rear derailleur.

Brushes and hooks for frames, wheels and the drive system

The brush set covers the typical steps involved in washing a bike:

• Wide brush: Long, stiff bristles for frames and wheels.
• Cone brush: Softer, medium-length bristles and a tapered shape for tighter areas.
• Detail brush: Short, firm bristles for removing dirt from sprockets and smaller components.
• Microfibre cloth: For drying or polishing the frame.

The two separate hooks can be fitted to the caddy in six different positions. According to the manufacturer, each can support up to 4.5 kilograms and are suitable for, for example, balance bikes with tyre widths of up to three inches, handlebars, towels or additional brushes. Feedback Sports specifies a total load capacity of 11.3 kilograms for the Brush Bar.

For regular maintenance in autumn

A fixed washing station on a bike stand can be particularly useful after wet training rides: the bike remains clamped in place for cleaning and drivetrain maintenance, whilst the necessary tools are within easy reach. This solution is especially handy for cyclists who regularly remove the rear wheel to give the drivetrain a thorough clean.

The Brush Bar is due to go on sale in US shops from mid-September 2026. Price: 64.95 euros. According to Feedback Sports, 80 per cent of the packaging is made from recycled paper products.
