On 4 September, licensed and amateur riders can take to the track as part of the EKZ Züri-Metzgete. Registration is already open.
Since 2008, amateur cyclists have been at the centre of the former World Cup race at the EKZ Volksmetzgete. After several organisers, the Zurich Cycling Club (RVZ) is now once again the organiser of "its" race.
The "new" Züri-Metzgete rolls along a challenging 52 km circuit with the climbs from Siglistorf and Regensberg that have been used on the original course for decades. As before, the amateur riders will start in different blocks according to their ability, with the actual start time being recorded with the individual transponder.
