Start location: Luxeuil-les-Bains, France
This cycling marathon leads through the picturesque Vosges mountains and offers two challenging routes: a long route with 178 km and 4020 metres of altitude and a shorter route with 93 km and 2200 metres of altitude. The route includes famous climbs such as the Grand Ballon and the Ballon d'Alsace, which offer spectacular views and challenging ascents.
02 June 2024 - Glockner King
Starting point: Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, Austria
This Austrian classic offers three routes: 29 km with 1815 metres in altitude, 27.3 km with 1672 metres in altitude and 13 km with 1283 metres in altitude. The highlight is the finish with a view of the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain.
02 June 2024 - La Stelvio Santini
Starting point: Bormio, Italy
Participants can choose between three routes: 130 km with 4270 metres of elevation gain, 108 km with 3053 metres of elevation gain and 64 km with 2280 metres of elevation gain. The routes include legendary passes such as the Stelvio Pass and the Mortirolo, which impress both in terms of scenery and athleticism. 09 June 2024 - Tour of the Dolomites by bike
Start location: Lienz, Austria
The SuperGiro has been cancelled this year, so the Tour of the Dolomites takes centre stage. The race offers a 112 km route with 1870 metres of elevation gain through the breathtaking landscape of the Lienz Dolomites. Participants experience spectacular panoramas and challenging climbs that make this region so famous.
09 June 2024 - Maraton Franja
Start location: Ljubljana, Slovenia
With distances of 158 km and 2822 metres in altitude and 98 km and 1625 metres in altitude, this marathon leads through the Slovenian capital and its surroundings, including picturesque landscapes and challenging climbs.
15 June 2024 - L'Ardéchoise
Starting point: Saint-Félicien, France
This event offers a variety of routes, including the longest at 285 km and 5570 metres in altitude. The ride through the Ardèche region offers impressive landscapes and varied route profiles. A special feature of the event are the multi-day variants, where you can book accommodation packages and luggage transport. The atmosphere is unique - the whole region helps out on a voluntary basis.
16 June 2024 - Mondsee 5 Lakes Cycling Marathon
Starting point: Mondsee, Austria
This cycling marathon offers three route lengths: 200 km with 2486 metres in altitude, 140 km with 1245 metres in altitude and 75 km with 370 metres in altitude. The routes lead through the picturesque lake landscape of the Salzkammergut.
23 June 2024 - Alps Challenge
Starting point: Lenzerheide, Switzerland
The Alpen Challenge offers two challenging routes: 191 km with 4473 metres in altitude and 117 km with 2956 metres in altitude. The flexibility is great: you can decide on the route which distance you want to tackle - the routes only split in Silvaplana. The routes lead through the impressive mountain landscape of the Swiss Alps, including iconic passes such as the Albula and Julier passes.
29 June 2024 - Gran Fondo Alé La Merckx
Start location: Livigno, Italy
For the first time, the Granfondo is not being held in Verona, but in Livigno. With distances of 167 km and 4300 metres in altitude and 107 km and 2050 metres in altitude, this marathon leads through the mountains around Livigno, including challenging climbs such as the Bernina Pass - the long route offers the double of the Foscagno and Eira Passes in addition to the Umbrail Pass. The event is one of the Granfondos with a long history - a new start is now being attempted in Livigno.
30 June 2024 - L'Alsacienne
Starting point: Cernay, France
This cycling marathon offers four route lengths: 170 km with 4200 metres of ascent, 147 km with 3800 metres of ascent, 100 km with 2200 metres of ascent and 71 km with 1700 metres of ascent. The routes lead through the beautiful landscape of Alsace and offer relaxed climbs with moderate gradients.
30 June 2024 - La Fausto Coppi
Starting point: Cuneo, Italy
One of the Granfondos with the most beautiful scenery. It offers two timed routes: 177 km with 4125 metres of ascent or 111 km with 2500 metres of ascent. The route leads over challenging climbs such as the Colle Fauniera and offers impressive mountain landscapes. For those who prefer to ride without the stress of racing, a third option is available for the first time: La Fauniere over 101 km and 2187 metres of altitude difference is offered as a non-ranked ride.
30 June 2024 - Marmotte Granfondo Alpes
Starting point: Le Bourg-d'Oisans, France
Following in the footsteps of the legendary climbs of the Tour de France, the route covers 177 km with 5000 metres of ascent, including legendary climbs such as the Col du Glandon, Col du Galibier and Alpe d'Huez. Participants will experience some of the most famous passes of the Tour de France. The Route from La Marmotte is a recommendation even without an event.
