The Votec Gravel Fondo makes its debut on 15 and 16 October. On gravel and forest paths, the race will take place around the Feldberg without timekeeping. TOUR readers can win five starting places.

On 15 and 16 October, a new event will celebrate its premiere in the Black Forest: the Votec Gravel Fondo 2016 is aimed at fans of unpaved trails. On Saturday, the race will cover 75 km and 2,300 metres in altitude and on Sunday 55 km and 1,700 metres in altitude around the Feldberg in the Black Forest. The route leads over gravel and forest paths, only bikes with racing handlebars are permitted. Gravel bikes or racing bikes with tyres that are at least 28 mm wide are recommended.
