Have you had enough of the same old muesli with oat flakes? The amaranth mueslis from Allos are a healthy and delicious alternative. There are nine different varieties, but the chocolate muesli was the testers' favourite. Amaranth is a rather unknown grain in this country. It originally comes from South America and was revered by the Incas as food for the gods. No wonder, as the grain contains significantly more important nutrients than wheat, for example. Amaranth contains twice as much iron as wheat, five times as much calcium as oats and also unsaturated fatty acids (especially omega-3 fatty acids). The high magnesium content is important for providing energy during sport. The healthy muesli is available in packs of 500 and 1,500 grams and costs 3.99 to 4.99 euros (500 grams) or 9.99 to 11.49 euros, depending on the variety.
