A digital service provides an insight into the world of cyclists more than 100 years ago: the magazines "Radlerin und Radler", "Die Radlerin" and other treasures are available free of charge.
The Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB) has digitised various cycling journals and made them publicly accessible. For example, "Radlerin und Radler" from 1899 can be downloaded in full as a PDF or individually. The scanned magazines provide an insight into the technology and clothing of the time, the usual rules and the underlying world view. The latter is mostly amusing, sometimes disconcerting, but always interesting.
