Rose has developed a screw clamp for hobby racing cyclists so that the start number is held securely.
The start numbers on professional bikes are usually held by small, curved metal strips on the rear brake bar, hand-moulded by the team mechanics. For amateur racers who only occasionally ride with numbers, there is a number holder for the seat post from Rose. The screw clamp is mounted in a similar way to a rear light using the enclosed rubber ring, cable tie or Velcro fastener.
