SuperGiroDolomiti - In the footsteps of the Giro d'Italia
The SuperGiroDolomiti will take place for the sixth time on 12 July 2022. Cycling enthusiasts can compete in one of the most challenging cycling marathons in the Alps over a distance of 228 kilometres and 5450 metres in altitude. There is no shortened route.

The route leads from the Dolomite town of Lienz through the Lienz Dolomites and makes a detour via Monte Zoncolan in Italy, which is particularly tough with a gradient of up to 24 per cent and represents the highest point of the route at 1738 metres. The participants have to cross the Plöcken Pass on both the outward and return journey before climbing the Kartitscher Sattel, the final pass. With the crossing of Monte Zoncolan, the race is reminiscent of the Giro d'Italia. The mountain is considered a monument of the Giro. The many enthusiastic people along the route and the flags on the houses also create a special flair.

However, as the event is limited to 1000 participants, it is advisable to register quickly. The registration fee is 100 euros until 31 May and 110 euros thereafter. It pays to be quick!
